The Recycling Zone is the Dakota County owned recycling facility where residents are able to bring hazardous waste, electronics and more. Although it is the only Dakota County owned facility, there are other locations in the metro-area for residents to recycle common household items and hazardous waste. Fees may apply at certain locations.

DVR is the partnership recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, BurnsvilleEagan and Lakeville that connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and waste disposal information.

DVR is not a drop off facility and does not accept any materials for recycling.
