Most businesses in Dakota County generate hazardous waste including items like light bulbs, batteries, paint and more. Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Program

For businesses that produce less than 220 pounds or about 22 gallons per month, Dakota County offers the Very Small Quantity Generator program. More than 90% of businesses qualify as a VSQG. To apply, visit the Dakota County VSQG site and submit an application online.

Dakota Valley Recycling

DVR is the partnership recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, BurnsvilleEagan and Lakeville that connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and waste disposal information.

DVR is not a drop off facility and does not accept any materials for recycling.
