DVR is the partnership recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, Eagan and Burnsville
that connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and waste disposal information.

The City of Burnsville is hosting a one-day Appliance & Electronic Drop-Off Event, which will take place on June 1, 2013 during the ‘I Love Burnsville’ week. The event will take place at the City of Burnsville Maintenance Center (13713 Frontier Court) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The following items will be accepted for disposal:
Cash or Check only.
Items NOT accepted at this event: hazardous waste (aerosols, batteries, cleaners, paint, light bulbs, pesticides, etc.), furniture, construction/demolition materials, vacuum cleaners or tires.

Do you have an ugly couch sitting in your basement? Or maybe there is a broken refrigerator in your garage? Whatever the item is, be sure to get it out of the house during the 2013 Curbside Collection Week. Burnsville residents will receive a discount on a curbside pick-up of bulky items, appliances and electronics as a part of I Love Burnsville Week. Pick-up will be on the same day as your weekly garbage collection.
When: During I Love Burnsville Week, June 3 – 15, 2013
Where: Your residence, at the curb.
Accepted Items: furniture such as chairs ($3-$15), sofas ($18-$28) and entertainment centers ($15); exercise equipment ($15-$25); household appliances ($15); TVs ($15-$55); computer set ($15); computer accessories ($2-$25); mattresses ($15), box springs ($10); lawnmowers ($5-$20); tires ($10-$15) and other bulky items.
