Mark your calendars for Dakota County's annual Tour de Trash! The Tour de Trash is a field trip for residents to learn what happens to their recyclables and trash. Participants will get a chance to visit waste and recycling facilities in their communities including a local landfill, compost site, recycling facility, and the Dakota County Recycling Zone. Tour guides will explain the steps that happen at each site and answer questions. The Tour de Trash is open to all Dakota County residents aged 16 and over. Registration is $10 and will cover the busing fee and lunch.

DVR is the partnership recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, BurnsvilleEagan and Lakeville that connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and waste disposal information.

DVR is not a drop off facility and does not accept any materials for recycling.
