Dakota Valley Recycling
DVR is the partnership recycling department for the Cities of Apple Valley, Eagan and Burnsville
that connects residents and businesses to recycling, composting and waste disposal information.
Besides The Recycling Zone, Dakota County's recycling facility, the following locations are in and around Dakota County where residents can drop off household hazardous waste.
To recycle CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs):
- Many Home Depot stores accept CFLs
- IKEA
- Some Ace and True Value stores
- Residents can bring CFLs to city facilities including the Apple Valley Central Maintenance Facility, the Burnsville Maintenance Facility, and the Eagan Community Center
To recycle other household hazardous waste (HHW):
