The City of Eagan ordinance requires that every household have weekly garbage collection. You may contract with a licensed hauler for removal or bring it yourself to a licensed solid waste facility or county-designated facility. The City allows garbage, recycling and yard waste containers at the curb or other collection point from 6 p.m. on the night before your collection day, until 6 a.m. on the day after.

If you do not have room to properly store your garbage and recycling containers, please contact your garbage hauler to discuss smaller container options.
