is a list of local organizations that accept a wide variety of unwanted stuff you might have. Don't throw
it away until you've fully explored the
option of giving it away, Reuse!
Catholic Charities of St Paul & Minneapolis
Look for "gifts of stock" and contact them.
Salvation Army
This is a direct link to thrift stores in the metro area which will accept your donations.
CHAP Ministries
Caring, Helping, and Providing Ministries is located in Burnsville. They even list items to donate and their conditions.
Goodwill/Easter Seals
Look under "Donation Options" for
acceptable items and locations.
The Reuse Center Retail Store
Accepts
donations and sells salvaged, reusable building/construction
materials, hardware and lumber.
Habitat
for Humanity Re Store
Individuals may
donate reusable building and household materials in good condition.
The materials are sold at a discounted price and any revenue
generated funds Habitat for Humanity homes.
